Thread: Time for the captain's arm-band to change arms?

Reckons not. Don't think its fair to ask Bamba to shuffle from centre half to defensive midfieldand back and dish out the bollockings and play his game on top of the commitments of being captain. Good to have a few leaders out there Sol certainly is one. Warnock teams usually got more than 1 mouthy sort. Clint Hill was massive for them as well as the mentioned Sean Derry. Both more than happy to oragonize n cajole.

He could probably do a job for Rangers in that league in his late 60s.

Give the captaincy to someone else to bring something else out of them.

The captaincy in football is generally a token position anyway.
    Well said!

Morrison is more diplomatic than Bamba and can speak to the refs calmly. Bamba is very animated and gets a bit too excited on times.

Good point. I love Bamba's passion and commitment to the cause but he does get in the ref's ear a little too much sometimes.

The ref is more inclined to think "not you a- bloody - gain!" when dealing with Bamba, however, Morrison's more subtle approach probably carries more weight.

They both had a go at the ref in tandem on Saturday immediately before the award of the second penalty.
