    Mervyn Griffiths - Wales' only World Cup finalist

    Hi all, I have just written an article about the life and achievements of Benjamin Mervyn Griffiths, the world-class referee who took part in the 1954 World Cup Final. Have a read and let me know what you think:

    Good read that. Didn't know he did the Matthews final aswell.
    The tall chap in the middle of the photo is the referee. Sandy Griffiths is on the right of the picture- he has an faw badge on his shirt instead of the fifa badge.
