    More Bristol City stats

I'm sure Jusset will be relieved to know that Bristol City are no longer the long ball specialists of the division with Ipswich now being the Championship side hitting the most number of long balls a game. The Wurzels are just marginally behind.

In addition to calling Cardiff City a long ball side, he's commented in the past that we look to pinch things from set pieces. At present, guess which Championship team has the most goals from set pieces? Yes, Bristol City.

They're also a team that attempts fewer tackles than most teams in the Championship yet they have one of the worst fouls conceded percentage.

In short, Bristol City are a fouling, long ball side that depends on set pieces. The statistics prove this beyond any doubt.

Based on the 2nd half they must have got their title back.

Do the stats include a luck quotient as well? The wurzels must have used up theirs for the season last night.

They used a fair percentage of that particular quota against us as well.

It's interesting that both Sheffield Utd and us both had a player sent off at a similar point in the second half only minutes after a Bristol City player had committed a bad foul.
