Ralls looks like he’s in midfield on his own. Damour has been anonymous and he’s not getting any help from the widemen

I can't see it. Big gaps in the defence is there? Sheff Wed managed something similar keeping the ball on the deck and exploiting gaps between centre halts n full backs. They couldn't finish though.

Has Bogle had the ball at his feet facing their goal yet??

I hope he’s better with his feet facing the goal than with his back to goal.

    Jay Bothroyd he isn’t.

Ref was straight out with yellow for Bogle but doesn’t even speak to the reading defender for exactly the same kind but more cynical kind of foul

See what yours saying. City need to play every week. Always dull after a break.

Foul on manga then by Kelly late on both worse than what Bogle did. Bogle got a red the other week so he's probably being watched.. and it could be soft but I think that is a pen..if Bogle gets a yellow and the ref is being soft then it's a pen.

Have a go second half now.

One thing I noticed was when Morrison headed the ball forward before their goal he had magna open but chose to put it down the middle...

Soft the both goals but were not beat..yet.

They don't look all that special.. played more long balls than us by far too.

Says 37% on the Guardian website. Sounds about right to me.

Reading throwin?????? Crazy. Oh, now it's Cardiff. Poor refereeing there.

Re: READING v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

This was always going to be a difficult game, not made any easier by our Captain going off and Manga being asked to do a job he's not good at against a really tricky winger.

Not worried about losing this type of game occasionally but I am worried that we may have an injury to Morrison that might take time to heal. We sound completely disorganised without him at the back at the moment.

I fail to see what Warnock can do to change this around now with the people he has on the bench. Goes to show we could do with another body or two in midfield...

We are now missing our centre half our central midfielder and centre forward (arguably our first choice keeper as well)

The whole spine of the team is missing

It was always going to catch up with us sooner or later
