Van Gerwen was 5-1 on to win that match, Cross was 7-2. The Dutch fave's finishing done him with just a 32% success rate on doubles, and his arse caved in on 'em at the death.

Well there were loads of Taylor fans earlier and I suspect still there for this match.
Not only do Taylor and MVG have previous, i suspect they think that their man has a better chance of winning the title against 20th seed as oppose to world number one.
