I didn't fancy a 300 mile round trip so near to Xmas. Because of issues with driving at night every time I attend a match is a 2 day trip and the hotel prices are horrendous at this time of the year. What was the excuse by the way. For someone who is on occasion quite opinionated about the club, you dont seem to attend that many matches.

I wasn't criticising you, just trying to encourage you to come along. If you live that far away, I appreciate it is difficult to get to every game.
