    Millwall

Disregarding historical rivalries they are the team that I have most respect for in this division.

Maybe its the Neil Ardley factor or the fact that that they are despised as much as us.

From what I've seen they play some very neat football and are capable of taking points away from the 'in-form' teams.

They are not as good against arguably weaker sides.

Would be nice to see them make the play-offs.

They could yet do us more favours in the 2nd half of the season. A win for Cardiff at the Den would be a massive result.

    Last 3 results:

    Millwall 3 - 1 Blades

    Villa 0 - 0 Millwall

    Millwall 2 - 1 Boro

    Next 2:

    Derby v Millwall

    Millwall v Wolves

They showed against us that they were well organised and very hard to break down.

I've tremendous respect for Neil Harris, he's a top young manager and it's a pity he has been overlooked for some of the big jobs.

All this success after overcoming testicular cancer

Horrible club. Their fans are the biggest bunch of wankers in football. Hope they get relegated.

    Is that your considered judgement?

Yes. Respect is the last word I would use to describe Millwall. They’ve got zero respect for anyone,.

My OP made reference to the team, not the fans.

Why should we judge a team by its fans?

By that token we should be waxing lyrical about Wolves

Never thought I'd see the day when Cardiff fans actually applauded Leeds fans, albeit when they were being comprehensively beaten.

Cannot see that happening if Bristol City were the opponents though.

Oh I dont know, I was out a few weekends ago in London for a IT reunion ( we have known each other since the days on a 33.6 K modem , just a sad old bunch of geeks, but we used to have a great laugh )
2 of the blokes were heavily involved with Millwall during the 70 - 90's, i knew them from ITK and the IT scene ( they both really do not fit in with the rest of the crowd )
They both always speak highly of cardiff and its lads, alot of respect is shown, we took in a Crawley Game while the geeks went and did Geeky stuff

as a side note, Meite scored in injury time, i didnt realise he had left us

They were just like us until very recently. Still are in normal clueless people’s eyes.
I like millwall for this reason. They battle on in their little chunk of London

Whats there to like about mindless violence from people old enough to know better?

I stopped being impressed by how game someone’s fans are 15-20 years ago.

It’s cringey as **** watching blokes in their 40s and 50s thinking they are big men.

Didn’t say I was impressed, but growing up in the 80’s we were like them in every way including the conveybelt. In fact we have had more individual fans banned than them. You have a soft spot for Norwich maybe JR?

Millwall will always be " un-glamorous " and always have that feeling of " Us against all others " , it must partly be the area they are in, hard, working class or worse

I guess you've quoted the wrong person there
