With the exception of West Ham who pretend they want good football but hire Moyes, Allardyce etc. I know they had to stay in the league but still. Years ago if the team was showing development and a style of play coming together a manager might be given some time. Not anymore. Rowett getting sacked by Birmingham was the worst case I have seen of late.
