Great times on a Saturday night, spent at the Commodore being entertained by the Langdon Doidge Sound.

Sounds like an activity undertaken by atheists.

.....and also Bindles, the Paget Rooms and elsewhere. I think Langdons Hotel in Richmond Road is connected to the family.

I've seen Doidge play a few times at the New Lawn and on TV in their play-off finals.

Decent striker / target man who holds his position well. Fox in the box.

Deserves to be playing at a higher level, maybe league one or a more established league two team.

Ex Barry Town, so must have pedigree.

Worth a punt, but unsure whether he could be immediately successful.

Would love to be proved wrong if Cardiff did sign him.

Quite a few doubters on this board when I first mentioned his name as a potential Wales forward.

I expect him to be at a new club by next season.

But we've got Bogle and Healey. We don't need another striker who will not get a game.

Rob, that place used to be the Fairview hotel, what a place that was! 24 hour drinking, the bar was frequented by some proper mental cases, had many a good night there back in the eighties.

If he comes down for talks, will the club put him up in a Traveloidge?

It was better when it was a drinking and music establishment in fairness. There's nothing over there now. Ruined.

Premium price due to no red meat in his diet.

    Loves cucumbers as well.

    Doidge latest from Wales Online:

    Dominic Booth @DomBooth19

Understand there's no truth in rumours linking Christian Doidge to Cardiff City. Especially not for £1m. Bluebirds want a midfielder more than anything and Forest Green don't want to sell. #Bluebirds #fgrfc
