Just back from injury and playing now for them, but they have lots of midfield options

He's not getting any younger and out f contract in June.

Would be a bit of a gamble as we'd have to pay him well and if we don't go up we will be short of cash next year.

But I rate him- he's just what we need

I did respond as to why I started the thread I'm guessing it was deleted.
This thread is titled as "guess" the other one just said Warnock was after a big signing...I hadn't looked in the other thread before I'd posted this as I was walking to work.
Noticed it after and commented too.

Not sure why such a comment would be deleted (neither am I bothered as) as I wouldn't have commented after that anyway..

It is a strange one , however this is my theory:

we signed him from Everton on an inflated wage and became part of the needed off load cost program
he started talking about the poor dressing morale under Slade ,which may right or wrong , however its best top stay loyal and buckle down .
Warnock see's Feeney as a safe pair of hands,yes less skillful in the short term , and a cheaper bench offering .
Feeney could probably slot into a number of positions unlike Matt ,who I think is a decent player
Feeney is much taller whcih can be useful in this league
Feeney has a better club pedigree
If we went up change style would Kennedy be part of that ( probably not ) hes played under a few managers now ?
Kennedy 's comment suggests he wanted away anyway , and he's not had any top club offers ,is he where he is due to attitude ( just a theory )
Hows he done at Port Vale, Plymouth and Portsmouth in lower leagues ( okay I guess )
