    County v Spurs at CCS?

    Anyone?

Re: County v Spurs at CCS?

No thanks. 4 teams on that pitch will ruin it.

Re: County v Spurs at CCS?

Shouldn't imagine their manager would want to make Spurs any more comfortable TBH. Goes against everything on the Giant Killing checklist.

I don't think the FA allows games to be moved. Has to be played in Newport.

Re: County v Spurs at CCS?

No chance they would want to move, even if it were allowed, which it isn’t.

The local boy is probably too upset to think about that, he's missed out on the team he supports

Yes when I heard Flynn saying that it confirmed every stereotype that we have of Newport, and sickened me a bit to be honest.

I'd rather the fixture that's booked in for that weekend, at home to Bolton .

What a great draw for Newport and a draw would be great with a replay at Wembley.

Cewnty will get enough money from the TV rights to make them happy.
Let’s hope it’s not on S4C on Sunday 5-30 kick off for them

Shame it wasn't the other way around - what a great day out for County fans that would have been. Would it mean a bigger payout for County if it had have been?

so you will either get City v Bolton or City v Man City

Re: County v Spurs at CCS?

I don't think anybody within 50 miles of Newport would want to see the game being moved.

Croesy is hoping one of the games is moved so he can go to watch all of his teams

£144,000 if it is live on TV. Not sure if they got £144,000 from being live against Leeds (because it was only in Wales), but this is earning them a fair chunk of cash. Well done to them, at death's door 12 months ago and what a turnaround. Get a draw, and they are at Wembley!

Probably wouldn't have been on TV, but County would have got 45% of the gate receipts. Spurs had 47,000 against Wimbledon - so Wimbledon would have had the equivalent of 21,150 fans gate receipts. Probably looking at around £500,000.

They took a meagre 7000 last time....
