To be fair , if it makes the occasion more fun and more friendly I'd say well done.

All's well that end's well, but I found it pathetic.

Imagine if a SWP officer did the same in the cauldron of Ninian Park during that cup game. He'd be on a charge of inciting violence. If a few Newport fans took exception, and did something daft, his job could have been up for an early bath. Naive at best.
