87th minute winner for Brighton, VAR proved there was no offside but there was a suggestion of possible handball.
But it seems like the angles from the back post were not looked at.

As the experts mentioned, unless this VAR is bullet proof, no point in having it.
Seems to me if they are going to pick and choose which camera angles they use, all that will happen is any blame will be taken away from the referee and put squarely on the faceless VAR-man.... i.e. no change (except delays) and still scope for carve ups.
Another excuse for the players to get in the referees face and demand he uses it if a decision goes against them.
More importantly, I’m already getting pissed off with the term “VAR” after only 24hrs!!
