Thread: Joe Ralls

    Joe Ralls

Possibly the best central midfielder in the Championship this season?

Best player on the park by a distance today.

Maybe heading for player of the season.

    Cairney for me.

Best player out there today. Gutsy performance in both halfs of the field today.

    Re: Joe Ralls

Certainly OUR best and most consistent, by a country mile.

Been a cracking servant to the club .

Those who critise, either don't understand his role , or have never kicked a ball in anger

    Re: Joe Ralls

If we don't manage to go up this year I can certainly see quite a few premier league clubs taking a good look at him for next season.

    Re: Joe Ralls

Gives the side balance and work rate. He’s played a fair few games for someone his age too. That year on mom at Yeovil done him the world of good.

    Re: Joe Ralls

Superb today and has been excellent all season.
However there are a fair few better in this league. He was chasing shadows against Cairney ( although in fairness Cairney had a lot more support in there)

I can see him getting a big money move in the summer if we don't go up.

Be interesting to see who covers the most ground and who gets the most tackles in out of the two - Ralls I suspect but Neves probably better in shots/goals and possibly passing. I prefer Ralls for his work rate and the fact that he doesnt wear gloves or a snood. If Gunnersson was fit probably Ralls would push further forward and have better stats in that direction.

This season Ralls has 7 goals and 2 assists whilst Neves has 2 goals and no assists.

Neves sits in the middle and pulls the strings like Pirlo

His passing is far, far superior to Ralls.

I am pleasantly surprised by that. Dont tell Wolvesalona, they will probably try to sign him.

I was merely responding to the previous posters comments which suggested that Neves's stats were probably better in terms of passing, shooting and scoring goals.

He certainly didn't look like Pirlo when our Joe did a job on him at Molineux

Ralls has already made 153 league appearances for us and he cost about half a Twix!

His (Neves) passing stats are far better

Neves is only 20 and already has a few caps for Portugal.

Ralls was great today but if people think he will go on to have a better career than Neves they are mad.

    Who has suggested he will?

I can see you’re in one of those moods this evening, Mark.

I won’t be playing so go find Dembe, you might have more luck there.

Have a good evening, and get well soonest.

    Warm regards

I merely asked where anyone suggested that Ralls would have a better career than Neves??

Perhaps you could help and point me in the right direction??

If you are unable to do so have a lovely evening yourself

Sounds like an expensive Leon Britton, Pirlo used to score and set goals up too.

Neves is a defensive midfielder and his team are top of the league by 10 points. I’m sure he won’t be too concerned he hasn’t scored as many penalties as Joe Ralls this season.

    He's got a Nerve

I think this is Joe's level I just can't see him making it in the premiership tbh. Comparing him to neves is just ridiculous

Agreed. Doesn’t possess the technical ability for the premier league imo
