If you go the the GP your slammed onto Lanznaprole type drugs to reduce the acid ,however you do need a balance of acid to break down food and stop diorhea which strips out nutrition to your organs .

Best advise I can give is to take cider vinegar with meals and probotic vitamins to introduce microorganism back into your gut.

We live or die from what our stomach does, well worth reaserching as we get older , before prescription answers as Lanznaprole that stops hearburn can neutralise other copnonments in your stomach .

Also another natural product to try is calcium carbonate .

Hope this helps been there and suffered.

Sorry for the spelling bug words ain't easy

Pastry is always a problem, orange juice always does it for me.

The apple cider vinegar seems to be popular and good for other things too, I'm going to get some myself.

Orange juice was a problem for me too - but I can now drink it without any problems. More fruit and vegetables helps, and less visits to Greggs.

I haven't eaten anything that you can buy from Greggs in ages, I'm a good girl now.

Did you watch the iplayer link in the Diabetes thread btw?
