Grujic sounds more like the midfielder we're after than Woodburn does.

For what it's worth, he's good on Football Manager......

There may be something in this rumour. ...
    For once.

I've seen woodburn play really well in a deep CM role when they played Plymouth away last season, and he looked very comfortable. He can play a number of positions, Klopp must want him to get some game under his belt.

We should see if Ampadu's available on loan

    He's not apparently.

Seems like we've jumped in last minute for Grujic and it's a goer.

Comparisons to Matic - very good technical ability

Really hope it comes of, this would be an excellent move. Exactly what we’re missing in midfield.

This one is going to cost big bucks, even as a loan.

Hopefully we'll make over £250k after costs for the Man City game, which would enable us to unexpectedly cover some of his costs I'd hope.

Also make him keener to sign as I think he is eligible to play.

NW talking after tonight’s game. Sounds very positive.

Warnock will now turn his attention to bolstering his squad, with a new signing close. The Bluebirds signed winger Yanic Wildschut from Norwich on loan until the end of the season last week, but are now close to adding a second winter signing.

"There are one or two things bubbling under, we are trying to bring a player in before the weekend, so it is going well at the moment," he said.

"I've been given the go ahead for players I want, it is just getting them over the line.

"I am hoping to do one tomorrow and it would be an important one for us. I am hoping to sign three this month."

I always feel slightly more optimistic when ccfcwelshlad hints at a signing. He never claims to be itk, however, more often than not he gets it right.

Just watched the post match interview with Neil Warnock on the club website - it ends with him saying "hopefully, we'll get some inside information on how Liverpool did it" when talking Man City. Hmm.

I read that as 3 in total. One already in, one tomorrow (today) and one more.
