I like listening to podcasts as I go on my walks.
True Crime All the Time is quite good. It can be a bit slow sometimes but the banter between the hosts helps to make a very dark topic less depressing.

True Crime Historian is ok. It is someone just reading old newspapers stories about murders.

When you've listened to enough of these podcasts you'll end up praying for the return of capital punishment.
There are shedloads of podcasts available from BBC and in particular Radio 4.
In The Psychiatrist's Chair
Thinking Allowed
Desert Islands Disks
File on 4
Word of Mouth
The Infinite Monkey Cage
In Our Time
Moral Maze
It depends if it's your bag, of course.
For those that were unaware of Flintoff Savage and Ping Pong guy, their first season is really entertaining and at times very very funny
If you like true crime then give True Crime Garage a go. Really well researched articles.
Hi,
Top choices:
I listen to podcasts while running & Radio 4's 'Just a minute' has me laughing like a lunatic as I run!
Also recommend Dan Carlin's hardcore histories - it's military history. Particularly like the Genghis Khan series but it's all good.
Also:
I listen to Blakey's bootroom betimes - find it interesting.
Thought the BBC 'A history of Britain in numbers' was fascinating.
Also quite like Tim Harford's 'More or Less' (BBC again).
I can't stand Just A Minute (even the theme music puts my teeth on edge) but Dan Carlin is excellent. They are suited to people who want to walk a marathon - never mind running - some are over 5 hours long and sound like a continuous stream of informed consciousness from his shed somewhere in the US of A. He covers an incredibly wide range of subjects series-by-series in amazing depth.
