Brilliant goal from bale Ronaldo still complaining he didn't have penalty

    Re: Real Madrid

Whilst Madrid have had a poor season, Bale looks like he’s getting back to his best.
Ronaldo on the other hand is on the decline, shame really, one of the greats.

    Cheers.

I see Ronaldo got in on the act eventually getting a couple.
After the Lord mayor's show though, far too much ground to make up on Barca.

It's a game of two halves NQAT.

    Re: Real Madrid

Everybody has gone home and Ronaldo is still wandering around the six-yard box looking for a penalty.

    Re: Real Madrid

I've seen it all now, Ronaldo checking his little cut on his face with a mirror.
    Jeez, has he no shame.

    Re: Real Madrid

There are a few reasons they are misfiring. Zidane isn't great tactically and has largely relies on the ability of his 'galacticos' to get them though.

Kroos and Modric haven't been anywhere near their best and Casemiro has begun to believe he's Iniesta instead of Makalele.

Marcelo, though great going forward is a lot like Fabio in that his positional sense as a full back is woeful and has been highlighted on countless occasions this season.

Finally and most importantly in my opinion is the ego of Ronaldo. Before today he had 94 shots in La Liga with a return of 4 goals! Madrid have been working positions only for Ronaldo to shoot when the shot is not on and waste opportunities.

You see it week after week where players will ignore players in better positions in order to help Ronaldo in his relentless quest to be rewarded by some French journalists.

Today is only painting over the cracks and it's a rare game along with Leganes where I'd want Madrid to win cos Deportivo and Leganes are boring as ****!

3 CLs In 4 seasons Gringo. Give some credit where it’s deserved.

He's talking about them now, not over last 4 seasons.

I like Zidane as a manager mate. Attack attack attack, but there has always been question marks over him tactically.
He deserves massive credit for what he has done and I genuinely thought he was leading Madrid down an unstoppable path last season with the way he was introducing Asensio, Lucas Vasquez, Mayoral etc in league games and they were still battering teams.

His insistence on playing Casemiro was a master stroke but if you watch Casemiro this season he's forgotten what he's about.

Modric and Kroos have been pivotal to their success but they haven't been anywhere near this season.
