Who do you think was the best?
I reckon Andy Dibble was up there.

I think on the main we have always had decent keepers. Give or take. Topically Mark Grew was an excellent keeper and a bit of a penalty specialist. The back pass law in 92 messed him up though cause his kicking off the deck was so poor. Marshall a great shot stopper. Heaton has turned into a class goalie.
Ron Healey
Bill Irwin
Gavin ward
David Marshall
Dibble probably tops the lot
Gavin Ward - what a kick he had
George Wood could kick. Some of his monsters would take one bounce and go out with the wind behind him.
He’s got no hair, but we don’t care Georgie Georgie wood!
My schoolboy hero was Fred Davies, the rest followed, Jumpers for goalposts and all that
Best goalie to ever wear a City shirt was Neville Southall
Allan McGregor. Always felt Marshall was over-rated, especially his last couple of seasons..
Going back a bit but Bob Wilson.Recent times got to be Marshall.
Easy one for me Ron Healey
I started in '86
So, for me
Georgie Wood
Roger Hansbury
Gavin Ward
Jon Hallworth
Neil Alexander
David Marshall
Tom Heaton
These are the ones that stick in my mind as my own favourites - if I were to rank them then I would go
Heaton (I preferred him to Marshall)
Marshall
Ward
Alexander
Hallworth
Hansbury
Wood
I liked Phil Kite and Mark Grew too
Only 'keeper I really remember hating was David Williams. Always seemed to be his defender's fault for the soft goals he conceded - especially a ridiculous one he conceded at home to Scunny in front of about 2,000 fans on a Tuesday night.
ron healey & andy dibble in no particular order
The best goalkeeping display I have ever seen by a City 'keeper was by Bill Irwin at Halifax in January 1976. Halifax threw the proverbial kitchen sink at us and he was magnificent. A few weeks later Tom McAllister gave an even better performance for Rotherham at Ninian Park.
But Marshall for 2012/3, 13/4 and 14/5 for consistency and she volume and quality of saves.
