    Can lightening strike twice ?

My very first City game was the famous 1971 win over Real Madrid at the tender age of 8.
I am taking my 8 year old grandson today.
Real Madrid at the time were one of the best if the not the best team in Europe.
Man City are, at the moment, the best team in Britain & probably one of the best in Europe.
I wonder if lightening could strike twice

I've only seen us beaten by Man City once in the five games against them I've watched live;-

1-1 FA Cup in 1967 when Graham Coldrick scored a spectacular own goal.
2-1 in 1983 when Paul Bodin got both goals.
0-3 in 1984 when Gerry Francis was playing for us.
    1-0 in 1994.
    3-2 in 2013.

We can trouble them if Zohore is in the mood and if we get enough attacking set pieces, but I have to think I will have seen a second Man City win over us by tonight.

Yes Bob I know that I am clutching at straws but cup games do throw up some unusual results.
I have even been trying to convince myself that this awful weather will be a bit of a leveller but in reality I expect our boys will dislike playing in these gusty wet conditions just as much as the Premiership boys.
Plus they (Man City) will keep the ball on the deck a lot more than us.

I remember Arthur Lightening - he was a Coventry City goalkeeper of the early 60s
