Thread: Why Madine?

    Why Madine?

It doesn't strike me as a panic buy and judging by the media stories Warnock must rate him.
I admit i don't know a great deal about Madine so is he any good?

Hes nearly 28 and this is the first season hes got to double figures in the league. Weve got other big lumps who dont score that many, why splash out 6m on another?

    Re: Why Madine?

City paid money for Parkin and Revell in previous January transfer windows, they were rubbish but they didn't cost up to £6m

Smacks of a panic buy like Tomlin.

    Re: Why Madine?

I can't imagine its 6m. Warnock makes a point of almost priding himself on spending the clubs money like its his own. He phoned football on 5 to tell them they got the fee wrong for Tomlin and it was in fact 1.7m.

I'd rather him or the winger they have can't remember his name but think he has a shed full of assists and a few goals

He can hold the ball up bring players in to the game o and win the ball with his head more then what we have at the moment, so that sounds good to me and it will help Big ken who is a good player if the the ball is played to his strength not jus hofffffff ball. over to u Mike from a 6 year old that knows his football
