    And the main area in need of strengthening

    Has still not been addressed properly
    Centre Midfield.

    Part of the solution to the midfield problem is usually sat on the bench for most games. Possibly a midfield of Rails, Grujic and Tomlin might create more than Ralls, with any two from Patterson, Halford or Damour?

    Patterson is perfect as a central midfield hard man

    He has a great engine , strong in the tackle and good in the air

    I personally think manga would do ok as cdm manga sitting with Ralls and Marko in front would be worth a go

    Over Bamba I totally agree.

    He's better on the ball, and if he does make a mistake there are 5 players behind him to make up for it.

    If we can play Bamba there is play Manga there. Solves the issue of trying to squeeze 3 into 2 in defence as well.

    I still hope to see a striker and a midfielder.
