    Arsenal panicking over Ramsey's contract....

The Bleacher Report is a US online publication which I receive once or twice a week and is usually fairly solid. I'm not sure you see it in UK but this report about Rambo's must have originated from there somewhere:

18 months left on his current deal; negotiations on a renewal 'dragging'; Ramsey wants to see a large increase from his current 110,000 per week in light of Ozil's recent 350,000 a week which broke the club's transfer policy.

Dare say his hat-trick at the weekend will have done him no harm :-

And here's an Arsenal blog that supports his case - claims his value to the club means he should get something nearer Ozil's money plus the captaincy. Also recognises the criticism he attracts from supporters as opposed to Wilshere; interesting:

Ramsey should have signed for Man Utd. Arsenal and Arsene are cheapskates unless
    you are foreign.

Time for him to move on. He'll be loyal but he shouldn't be as he's not been properly looked after there - both in terms of injuries or appreciation by the supporters

Absolutely. He gets so much grief from some of their supporters. Definitely time to move on.
