    Unfortunately had to retire today only 26 hope the FA look after him

    I’d imagine the club and player will be well insured.

    Gary Cahill put out a statement yesterday. He’s absolutely devastated.

    Gutted for the lad.
    Scary how easy something like that can happen at any level.

    He will be well looked after physically and financially but mentally he will need support.

    Sorry to hear, but why should the FA 'look after him' ? He's not poor, probably quite wealthy, has his health. Not sure what the FA should be doing..

    Im not talking financially looking after him if you haven't seen or read more in depth what happened after he left the pitch at Stamford bridge I suggest you do he is very lucky to still be alive

    The PFA, his union, are the ones who should be expected to 'look after' him

    Whichever one I just hope the boy gets looked after. He had to be fed by his Mrs
