    BBC reporting

That upskirting is to be made a criminal offence.
I presume to protect the snowflakes they will have to make uptrousering an offence too.
    Worlds gone mad.

I work at a local paper in England. We reported on a case where a teacher took pictures up girls' skirts during exams, but he ended up having a criminal case against him dropped because the current law didn't fit what he did. There is a massive gap in the law and this should fill it.
He got struck off as a teacher, but faced no justice for what he did. Shameful really.

You don’t think taking an unwanted photo up someone’s skirt should be illegal then?

Crazy, he didn’t get any sort of criminal record? Surely he’s a danger to kids if he’s doing that.

Nope. No current law fitted the crime. They tried to prosecute him for making indecent images, but the images weren't, to use a horrible phrase 'indecent enough' for that so the judge had to dismiss the case.
He got no criminal record that would show up on a DBS check, but banned from working as a teacher/teaching assistant was the only punishment.

Crazy you can do that to kids without being put on a register, at least he isn’t a teacher any more.

You think this measure is wrong? Have you daughters?
The vast majority of cases of this sort are carried out against teenage girls. Do you really think this shouldn't be made illegal? If its not made an offence, what measure is there to prevent it?
I do worry about the likes of you.

The Daily Sport ( or spurt ) has been doing this for years.

I remember being in the pub when someone had a copy of the Spurt with
an upskirt of Emma Watson when she was about 18 flashing her pants and pubes
    as she did so.

" Hairy Potter " was the pictures caption.

Just one of thousands posted by them. Hope the law gets people and papers
    for past offences like this.

It's disgusting, paperazzi crouching down to car seat level to take pictures up young women's skirts as they get out of cars, but if you or I do it to the students who live next door then apparently it's harrassment.
Once again it's one rule for one and another for the rest of us.
