    I wasn't 100% sure. At Brighton that day we saw graffiti near the goldstone ground which said 'Beware of the Brighton mentals'. and someone had crossed out Brighton and painted 'Cardiff'

    I've been over that wall a fair few times, we used to put a railway sleeper against the wall to get up and over. Can't say I met any players dads there though

    I'd completely forgotten he worked for the Council, having a son playing for the City made him a bit of a celebrity. Thanks for reminding me

    I think he was the first ever landlord of the Three Arches when it was built in the early 50s, he kept The Heathcock in the 60s when my father drank there and I remember him keeping The Three Horseshoes in the 70s
