    A different team and tactics in the PL might suit him?

    I see where you are coming from though, hoofball only appears to suit certain players.

    Me too , he can actually play football though so probably doesn’t suit our style.

    not sure the anti Tomlin stuff on here

    He has never been the most athletic player, so no surprise he looks a stone over weight ( though just seen his twitter account, he looks fairly slim in the city shirt )
    He has never ran around like a headless chicken, so no surprise he looks like he is not putting in a shift

    Each time I saw playing for us in person, he looked to be putting in a shift. He obviously has some fitness issues but he still gives it his all and he celebrates each goal he scores like he's just won the world cup. Pair that with obvious high skill levels and you have what could be a key player in any team if used right.

    However as stated earlier in the thread...our style doesn't really suit a player of his calibre.
