    Despite the criticism ... 'Anti-Christ of football'

    I thought Cardiff gave it their all today.

    Yes, I know at times it was not pretty to watch, but cannot remember too many instances when any Cardiff player lost a 50-50 aerial duel.

    Although Connolly and Halford had slightly shaky starts they both grew into the game and by the end of the match they must have been pleased with their performances. Feeney had a decent run out as well, deserving his ovation when subbed.

    Hoilett was my MOM although many would argue that Ralls, Bamba, Manga & Etheridge came close.

    Hopefully we can get some of those injured players back for this big run to the finish line

    Etheridge was solid but I can only remember him having 1 comfortable save to make.

    As with most statistics though it depends how you cut it. Apart from Millwall we play the biggest percentage (25%) of long balls in the division compared with Bristol's 20%, Wolves at 14% and Fulham at 11%. I suppose if you don't have the ball as much as other teams then you don't pass it as often. Points win prizes though!

    Wasn't his saves - he was commanding in his box. Held on to everything.
