A high percentage of KFC stores are franchise based and a large amount of its employees are on zero hours contracts. Bu messing up its delivery contracts you will have extreme pressure on a franchise holder, and staff simply not getting pad for weeks, i can understand in this situation why you would try to buy chicken from Asda.

How many meals would that amount of chicken make? A few, not many

But so desperate as you say, they having to do absolutely anything to just get some sort of money in. People are laughing but the workers will take a good hit
