They were hammered 'cos they robbed from taxpayers and pled not guilty. They'll have more punishment via a proceeds of crime hearing when the state'll recoup what is estimated they profited from their criminality, Sugrue for £517K, Aizlewood for £424K. Houses and any other realisable assets they own will be seized to claw back the dough owed.

This is a very serious fraud though and government money is involved. Sentences are absolutely justified, I have seen figures of nearly £5 million thrown around! He has always been a complete and utter tosser in my view anyway.
