How do you know he is injured ?. Did you get the information off one of the other boards ?. If so, it is just rumours.

If you choose to believe me or not it's up to you but he's injured.

    Re: Not board v board..

My source is close to Joe Ralls personally.

They said he was having a scan on his knee and that Joe himself was worried it might be 6 weeks out.

This is not from anyone down the ground or standing outside matches etc.

    Correct unfortunately.

    Re: Not board v board..

Strange one, as Joe puts the cross in on 82 minutes for us to score, he then sprints 30 yards to jump on Ken and in the last minute, he is sprinting back into our box and putting in a sliding tackle.

When did this injury occur ?

At a guess reading that, the sliding tackle.

    Re: Not board v board..

I'm guessing when he made that slide tackle

Anyone training outdoors this week would have done so on a much harder than normal surface - I would have thought that the conditions this week are made, if that is the right word, for knee injuries.

Was during the closing stages of the game on Sunday, unfortunately. Club were trying keep it quiet; but there's no chance anymore..

Sums up our luck at the minute.

    Re: Ralls injury?

    Ok..that's confirmed.
Next question is who replaces our main midfielder?

Okay, thanks for that - no idea yet how long he is likely to be out for I presume?

Bamba at holding midfield with Grujic and Bryson. Put Patterson back to right back. This is bad.

I would imagine Grujic and Damour will sit and Paterson stay in the ten role. Goes without saying that is a very inexperienced central midfield engine room and is a big concern for our gaffer.

    I’d prefer Bryson and Grujic

Yes, I would have thought Bryson would be the most likely replacement and, you never know, Gunnar may be available fairly soon.

    Re: Ralls injury?

I was going on the theory that except for an injury time appearance at Ipswich, Bryson hasn't played for ages and will take a while to get back up to speed especially at Brentford where conditions are going to be tricky. When back up to speed, then I agree Bryson will come in and fingers crossed Gunners is not to far away either.

    Re: Ralls injury?

Hopefully Gunnar can take one eye off the world cup and get back to his best soon, I'd go with Damour this weekend bundles of energy.

After the snow this weekend I'd think about a bryson/damour/grujic trio but I see Neil keeping Paterson in there.

Maybe if the game is off it'll be a blessing in disguise

    Bryson-Paterson-Grujic

This. Straight swap Bryson for Ralls.

My only concern is Bryson is nowhere near as effective as Ralls.

Plays it simple so may work with those 2, plus has loads of experience.

However we'll have to change it at Derby 😕

That’s because Bryson was used to break up play and be the terrier because the Joe Ralls position was filled by Joe Ralls.

I’ve seen Bryson play really well, but never when he’s been paired with Joe.

I’ve never been a fan of Ralls, (wanted him gone last season) but this season he’s been fantastic.

    Re: Ralls injury?

Is Ralls good enough for us to really worry if he missed a few games? I don't really agree he's more effective than Bryson but each to their own
