Terrible News, I met Mark numerous times, a thoroughly likeable person with a heart of gold, Mark with his son did some roofing work for me, I have basically stopped using MB's and social media since the new year but have been browsing about dropping in occasionally and have known that Mark has been poorly for some time.

Edit: I have not logged on here since the new year and have just read an update from Mark in my inbox dated 03.01.2018, I had messaged Mark previously to ask about his current status of health, being the gentleman that he was, his 1st line was to apologise that he hadn't responded straight away.

Genuinely saddened, He has been a member for a long time, whenever anyone asked about a roofer, I always pointed them towards him, he ALWAYS thanked me without fail

At times when the CCMB mob has decided I was the target, he would always message me with support

I'm guessing that Mark must have been posting on here for getting on for twenty years? That really brings home how quickly time flies, but, even so, it is still a complete and utter shock to learn of his passing, because he can't have been any age at all can he. I think I may have met Mark at one of those pre game get togethers in the Landsdowne we used to have, but that would be the only time I would have done so and yet I feel I knew him pretty well - certainly his messageboard "character" backed up all of the complimentary things his friends on here are saying about him.
