I get the feeling Wenger will be gone before the end of the season if this carries on.

Who's available to take over right now?

I feel a bit for Wenger mind, but he should probably have bowed out gracefully a few years back.

Sad that he will be remembered negatively when he's done a job there.

Souness raised a valid point earlier on.

Wenger took over from Graham, the basis of the squad was there. Wenger goes, that entire team needs gutting - zero leadership within the squad.

Wenger going now reminds me of Ferguson going - leaving a squad needing a massive overhaul; the job will be a poison chalice for whoever takes it over.

Will they sack Wenger, do they know how to?

Arsenal haven't had to fire their manager in over 20 years

Looking at the performance of some of the recently promoted Premier clubs it does seem that a bit of stability, common sense and organisation can get you a few seasons at the top table. A few seasons that could, if managed sensibly financially, buy your club a turmoil free future. Saying that, looking back, even given our crazy, topsy turvy recent history we’ve come out the other side quite well with our league standing at the moment. Perhaps Vincent Tan does deserve some credit for his handling of the finances, getting us to the brink of promotion so soon after relegation especially when you look at the years the likes of Wolves, Sheffield Wednesday, Sheffield United, Birmingham, Bolton, Portsmouth etc have spent in the relative wilderness.

Maybe that will perk them up.

He won't be fired, it'll be more a stage managed "retirement" than anything else out of respect. Arsenal's problems - a porous defence, inability to adapt gameplan have been there and obvious for years. Wenger is clearly a dead man walking, it's only a matter of time and I'd not be surprised if the woeful play seen out there is because players know that to.

Def time for wenger to move on mind. He wanted to be a legend like Ferguson but it’s justbnot happened. He was a revolution when he arrived. Situ not helped by two very wealthy owners who don’t get on

Spent to much time the last ten years as if the money was coming out of his own pocket and has not only bought poorly and not strengthened the positions he needed to most but the way he has allowed quality players to run their contracts down has bordered on incompetence

They won't sack him. He'll step down "at the right time".

Feel sorry for the bloke he's fighting against the tide of money which now controls everything .

He never wanted to over pay for players or commit Arsenal to stupid money contracts.

Sadly the system has beaten him , decent football purist

He should have gone after the FA Cup win , he was never going to better that unless a multi rich guy comes in like the Man City model , however he'd be removed anyway for sticking to his sensible values .

    FT 2-1

    Well done Brighton.

That’s four defeats in a row for Arsenal and 8 defeats in 2018 in all competition.

Last 10 games they have won 4 lost 6.

Shows how bad the rest of the league is that they still sit in 6th
