    Injuries..

We won the first is games of the season without Madine..Patterson.. (any others?)
We can do this..beat Brum and Brentford through sheer stubbornness and look at the table then.

I’m normally very positive but have to say I’m really worried about our injuries. Fingers crossed we can get a few of the walking wounded back for Saturday.

    Re: Injuries..

Jazz Richards, Lee Peltier, Sean Morrison, Armand Traore, Arun Gunnarsson, Joe Ralls, Jamie Ward, Danny Ward, Frederic Guonongbe, Gary Medine. Is that the current casualty list?

Why do you think we are getting so many injuries,is it the way we play, overtraining or just bad luck?

    Re: Injuries..

Maybe Morrison , Peltier and Gunnar back in the squad for Sat.

Was going to say Bamba back into midfield, but he played there in the away game at Brum and was awful.

Very good in a spoiling role, but not so in a creative one.

Grujic, Brayson and Damour if no patterson on Sat.

Etheridge, Peltier, Bamba, Manga, Bennett, Hoillet, NML, Big Ken...

Bench... Morrison, Gunnar, Wildshut, Pilks, Murphy, Connolly, Halford

No Harris - I'm drawing you in to my viewpoint (taken 2 years mind)........

If Morrison is fit enough he plays - never mind the ruddy bench

Scan tomorrow according to Warnock post-Barnsley.

2 in form defenders or one just back from injury ?

I'm a big Morrison fan, but Bamba and Manga have been outstanding whilst he's been out

I have a feeling that Warnock will pull a rabbit out of the hat for Sat. Perhaps you are right and Gunnar will be on the bench.
On a more realistic level I expect Pelts and Traore and hopefully Morrison to be back.
If so Bamba may have to go into MF.

You can add Paterson to that list the way he limped off on Tuesday

Guess it depends how short we are.
Maybe he'll be on the bench.

What about Traore ? Is he fit ?

Feels like we've got a big squad these days as Warnock uses virtually everyone, so even with all these injuries we will have decent players who can't even get on the bench

    Re: Injuries..

Is our injury crisis worse than other clubs?

It seems worse than in previous years - but when you look at clubs like Sheffield Wednesday, we are not the worst hit by injuries.

Bad luck, bad training, or just the way it is....?

Without doing any research (lazy git that I am) I would go with 1 and 3.

The amount of league and cup games if you play outside the premiership, and training however many times a week, allows for little time to recover from even a slight knock.

If you don't have like for like players to come in (who does apart from the top clubs?) then players are asked to perform with injuries.

You need to be one hell of an athlete to stay injury free in the championship for a season, especially if you are going for promotion.

Wednesday have had it bad , as have Leeds at one point, Fulham early in the season and Villa according to their fans.

Hull were also in bits when we played them.

It's just been the sheeer numbers with us
