This is how i see it now...

We have to forget about Wolves and hope they beat anyone near us..and if we can get any result when we play them it should be looked upon as a bonus.
Our rivals are now just Villa and Fulham.
We win the rest of our home games and a couple of away ones and that may be enough to clinch second.

If we win our 5 home games and 2 aways alone, Villa would need 8 wins and would only be able to lose once in their last 11 while Fulham would need 8 wins from their last 10 and remain unbeaten. If Fulham go unbeaten in their last 24 games that would be a phenomenal effort. An extra 21 points from us would require Villa and Fulham to go on better runs than they are currently on. Improbable.

If we were to win 7 and grab 2 draws, Villa need to win 9, Fulham the lot. No chance.

Wolves is just another game, we need to play to win. Points mean prizes.

All we do is focus on our own matches, taking one game at a time. We have put ourselves in a really good position. The games are quickly running out. We will drop points as will everyone else. As it gets right to the wire it will be all about pressuer and how you handle it,this is where Warnock will be so invaluable. There is no doubting we have plenty of heart,we can grind out the ugly win which is so vital at this part of the season. With each game and the gap staying the same the pressure is cranked up even more.
I agree 100% a Wolves victory or a draw is the ideal scenario for us Saturday. But first we need to take care of Brum,if we do that and Villa go into that game 7pts behind us anything other than a Villa win puts us in a really strong position over them.

What it boils down to is that promotion is on our hands. Win our games and we are up.

There is as much pressure on Villa and Fulham as on us. Who will crack first?

Calm down, I bet Villa and Fulham would rather be in our position. It's up to us to spectacularly screw things up

So you’re saying the pressure’s on Norwich?

Saturday could see us 6/7 points clear if we win and Villa and Fulham slip up in tough fixtures. That's 2 games Fulham and Villa would have to claw back. If somehow we could win at Brentford as well in our game in hand, Fulham could potentially be 10 points behind. There's no way they'd come back from that without winning every game.

I think if we could stretch our lead to 7 points, the pressure would be too great on Villa and Fulham.

    You can see it now..

Villa lose to wolves and with a great chance to pull away again we lose ironically to brum..villas biggest rivals.

Don't get me wrong we wouldn't look out of place putting 2/3/4 past them..but seasons are full of ups and downs.

Win like we are capable of, and form says we should, and we will be in a good position.

The way Neil seems to shut up shop after 2..sometimes 1...means we won't see many goals from now to the end of the season.
No problem with that if we keep winning.

Biggest game of the season is always the next one, when you are in the promotion places. Given Villa are playing after us, it is important we beat Birmingham. It will put pressure on Villa if we do, no doubt about that. I fear the following two games are really going to test us. I just pray we have some players fully fit from recent injuries. If not then draws at Brentford and Derby would be okay.
