    West Ham

Have become an utter embarrassment of a football club.

    Re: West Ham

A club full of passionate fans being hollowed out from the inside because of commercialism. Always gonna happen.

    Re: West Ham

    Agree.
A once proud club destoyed by the greed wealth sky murdoch and your armchair fan.

You can never rebuild their home. Destroyed and vandalised to rubble and allowed to happen by their own fans to play in a tourist attraction .

West Ham are now just London FC football franchise. The old West Ham has gone.

I’m not condoning pitch invasions, and the perpetrators should be punished but I think fistings taking things a bit far.

A club sold down the river and their fans just lay down and let it happen.

    Re: West Ham

We could always change our colours back. We were also under threat of being wound up.

Their home is a pile of rubble.

The club as it was is dead.

    Re: West Ham

Well done to the West Ham fans for protesting in front of the owner.

Owners are custodians of the club, they are short term. I hope that those who are annoyed start boycotting because there's only one thing that owners listen to - revenue streams.

    Re: West Ham

i remember a good few years back a few people on here suggesting It would be good if Sullivan took over Cardiff with being Welsh and rich.
Also note that the West Ham fans are largely being vilified by the media. Personally think good on them.

Do I have this right? Thier fans were told that moving stadiums would lead to the club spending big on players which would lead to huge success on the pitch, but that hasn’t materialised. Is that what the protests are about, in a nutshell?

That and they’ve only spent 29m net in the 4 windows since moving.

They just got the hump because they’ve been relocated

In the meantime, yes it does seem things are going wrong at the Hammers. That stadium seems to be retro hotbed of disorder and when to tie getting tonked at home by Burnley easily you know you’re in trouble

I think that movie stadium may well kill the club off.

Sullivan and Gold should be forced to buy back land to rebuild a stadium near to the previous one. Well, we will be able to complete either big boys in Europe if we move hey, in the championship. Shocking really. Like the jack Judas saying they can move to the next level by selling to a hedge fund. Yeah of course you can huw

I don't remember the West 'am fans complaining too much at the time - probably looking forward to the promise ofwinter nights playing the likes of Ludogorets Razgrad in the Europa League. Everton/Goodison Park going the same way..
