City have all the cards and won't falter:


- Another 2 points dropped by Derby today mean only Villa or Fulham can displace the Bluebirds;

- They are 4 and 5 points behind respectively and Fulham have played one game more;

- There are now 4 teams after 2 places and the greatest pressure is on Wolves;

- Of the four, City have conceded fewest goals and are strong enough in mind and body to get at least draws from the big games against Wolves and Villa; our season has been built on great defence and key defenders are now returning to fitness to aid the cause;

- likewise up front where the original 3 who tore up the division early on are now back together and looking the part once again;

- midfield is a bit of a concern but Grujic is improving with every game, Paterson is not someone you want to be playing against you and hopefully after the international break Ralls, Bryson and maybe even Gunner will be there too;

- Finally, the manager and his back room have all been here before and seem to making the right calls both in selection and during games. The fans, too, have their part to play - there's a solid hard core but bigger numbers should soon be seen and getting behind the team to see out this brilliant season.

So, have faith, we've been here before too and know what's expected from us so enjoy the ride, support the team and trust that it's our year.

Massive to be able to have Peltier and Morrison back to accompany Bamba Manga and Bennett for those tricky ties against Villa Derby and Wolves where we may need to just pack out the defence.
