It could certainly do with being renamed, but potentially naming it after NP takes away the history of our old ground. Anything is better than naming it after a sponsor though...
It was only given the name CCS until a sponsor could be found, and to me it’s always felt like a temporary name. Its been nearly 10 years now so perhaps it would be nice if it had a proper name. I wouldn’t like it to be renamed Ninian Park because it just isn’t. I’ve always quite liked The Capital Stadium. It would be easy to add a sponsors name to it too.

IF we go up we could well be playing in a ground with a sponsored name next season
If a ground sponsor was actually found then hopefully the income would make up for whatever the chosen name was.
But until then if ever it remains the CCS.
The only name I would change it for would be Ninian Park as it would invoke memories of the past. Not all good but nostalgic.
If we do get promoted I think it would be an even greater thing to do and would potentially mobilise greater support, in what would most likely be harder times.

I if I was on the CCFC Board I would at least consider it and canvass fan opinion, accepting that should a sponsor ever be found the name would change.
I'd like the 'New Ninian', but I imagine it would be a sod to ssay when pissed.

Calling the CCS by the same name, 9 years later, would be meaningless.

It would mean no less than CCS to most and more to many.
Talking of the stadium, I drove past it on Thursday and had to smile at that giant pic of NW.
