Agreed ... nothing will come of it.

The EFL will probably agree to Neil's wish for rearranged fixture on April 24th rather than 17th though ... so that we don't have three away games in 7 days.

I disagree there has been a precedent set with Boro....
According to Vince Alm and Ken Choo tonight Derby are saying it was called off because they couldn't get a capacity crowd because their fans couldn't get out off their drives.
    Points deduction is a possibillity.

This shouldn’t just be forgotten. Football clubs cannot postpone games just because it suits thier current injury situation, and be allowed to get away with it.

Obviously this sucks and is outright cheating but they were dropping like a stone before the injury crisis, they do it every season so lets just play them again in a few weeks. Hopefully job mostly done by then and a point would be a decent result. We get the last laugh by going up, I think we are probably just going to look silly pursuing this.

If it has happened to Man City or Liverpool, all hell would have broken loose. But because it’s just Cardiff City then they will just get away with it.

This. CCFC should at least try to do whatever they can to stop getting this swept under the rug.

Shit now you've gone and done it NYC.

"I've just got out of bed because of my location in the world and want to contribute" I fear won't be a good enough excuse for William Treseder and SunderlandBB.
    Let it lie FFS!

I had a glance on their forum, and a lot of their lot were agreeing that the decision was shambolic. But then some were claiming the same as has been said above that the poor sods from the villages couldn't get out of their drives.

I mean, c'mon people. WHAT ABOUT THE POOR PEOPLE IN BELPER? SEND AID!

It's extremely annoying for the fans who travelled but I don't think we are getting anything out of appeals to this. Just let it go, keep the momentum and positivity going. Go back up there and beat them in a few weeks.

What if they were deducted points and it let Bristol City into the play offs ??

Let's just make sure we do them in the rearranged game.

A points deduction may mean Millwalls interest lasts longer...Fulham and Villa at home their last 2 home games.

The EFL statement was pretty clear, they won't be getting involved in this.

There won't be a points deduction and nor would I personally want that for Derby, decision was nothing to do with their fans or players so why punish them.

This will all drift over very quickly I expect.
