Interesting quirk of the fixture list

With the Derby County game being played so late and with Forest being a late kick off at the time the Forest game kicks off we will have 4 to play and Fulham and Villa only 2 each.

Quite possible the gap could be gone by then or at least closed right up.

Imagine if we are a point in front knowing 2 wins will take us up when there's nothing the others can do but watch

However, do you expect Fulham and Villa both to drop 9 points in their next 6 games ? As if we get 3 wins from our next 6 then that is what they will need to do for us to be up before Derby.

And thankfully we won't so no worries there ,we are not the old City side of collapse we are managed by Warnock ,Jepson and Blackwell they will drag this team screaming, over the finishing line.

I can honestly see the gap getting a little bit bigger, Fulham and villa both have 2 tricky away games in this group of 3 in a week, can see us being 9 points ahead atleast by the 3rd game with a game in hand, both teams will only have 5 games left and city 6, 9/10 points ahead after these 3 games and surely not even we can screw that up
