Thread: This feels so much better than last time

This feels so much better than last time

Obviously in blue not red and less of a toxic atmosphere but also Warnock is so much more likeable than Malky.

Plus we threw a load of money at it last time, and this time we are underdogs.

    Bluebirds! Bluebirds!

    I totally agree with you.
This time it seems more real

This season and our run to the FA Cup Final are the most enjoyable seasons I can remember.

Malky was fake. Played the fans like a fiddle. Seen right through him early doors.

Neil knows how to play the game, and fans, but he’s genuine. NQAT.

    We need a Warnock smiley.

Plus we are 4 points better off at this stage this time than when we were last time.
We also got promoted on 83 points

Gonna need a few more than that this time. I think we’ll need to beat our 2012/13 total just to get promoted

    I actually liked Malky

Until it all unravelled. But as you say, this all feels so much better. Warnock, whole squad, Choo, Tan, fans all on the same hymn sheet - all pulling in the same direction. Bliss.

I wanted Warnock down here 10 years ago but this is just fine.

Let's now finish the job we've all started.

It'll feel better when and if we go up - we are at a stage now where there will be plenty of criticism flying about if we don't go up automatically from here and I suspect all of the good things we did for thirty eight games will be forgotten in the short term at least.

This is the week, not so bothered about villa away now and if we get 2 good results before we play them, they will be even more resigned to the playoffs anyway which must be a huge blow. We just need to Fulham to feel it too.

I really cannot see Cardiff slipping up from here but, if they finish below the top two, I wouldn't fancy them for the play-offs.

    It's a four team race, isn't it?

Today, I think Villa will win at Hull, leaving them 7 points off Cardiff.

    Monday
    Sheff U v Cardiff - a draw here
Villa v Reading - home win
Tues - Fulham v Leeds - home win - gap down to 5 points

Friday - Cardiff will beat Wolves.
Saturday - Villa at Norwich - a draw (gap back to 7)
Sheff W v Fulham - home win (gap at 8)

    Tue
Villa v Cardiff home win (gap at 4)
Fulham v Reading home win (gap at 5)

    Fri
Villa v Leeds - home win (gap at 1)
Sat Norwich v Cardiff - draw (gap at 2)
Fulham v Brentford - home win (gap at 2)

Cardiff will have a game in hand at this stage, and they will be too strong for at least 2 of their 4 opponents.

Theres a great atmosphere amongst our fan base at the moment.

Probably the best since Eddie Mays promotion team. Canton Stand was bouncing yesterday.

Wolves looks like being a huge crowd despite the cameras.

I can see the gap reducing to about 2 aswell thanks to derby, it could be quite different fir the clubs chasing up if the gap was 10 as it should be. I still see us getting points at derby, Norwich and at home to wolves, reading and Notts forest. 15 points. You must be choking if the jacks slip into the bottom 3 at the same time eh?
