In my humble opinion we catch Wolves.
At this stage of the season they seem to be stuttering more than Fulham.
Obviously Friday is the acid test. If we lose then Wolves will be away, and Fulham May well mug us on the line, but I think we’ll beat Wolves, and then it’s a mad dash for the line, in which us and Wolves will fight out the finish.
I'll tell you on Saturday.
This is how I see it.
We have to beat Wolves to keep Fulham at bay.
I think Friday night is THE match of the season for us. Beat Wolves and we give ourselves a chance of 2 auto places rather than one. Lose and I think we'll really struggle to hold off Fulham based on the belief they have at present. I think they'll only drop 4 points max over their final 6 matches.

We would only need 10 points then have some faith
If they dropped 4 points, we just need 10 points from 7 games. That's not even 2 points a game. That's 3 wins from 7 and we'd be allowed to lose 2.

I still think the first two teams to hit the eighty point barrier will go up automatically.
Wolves have previous for blowing unassailable leads at the top of this division. Can't think who was their manager last time they blew a double figure lead over third and lost out in the playoffs.If we catch Wolves and Fulham catch us, we'll still be in second!!!!

It is indeed squeaky bum time, and I am erring on Fulham mugging us for 2nd place. Friday is massive. If we beat Wolves then obviously I will be more positive.

I have done the predictor table several times in the last few weeks, and every time I have wolves winning the league by various amounts. But every time I also have us pipping Fulham by between 3 and 1points.
Don't see that changing. Too far in front for me.
This site now predicts us to win the last game v Reading to beat Fulham by 2 points, but 10 points behind Wolves

Last week they had Fulham beating us by 2 points but we gained an unpredicted point v Sheff U and due the improvement of Sheff W, they predict Fulham dropping another 2 points.
I know its all bollocks but it is scientific bollocks and so long as we go up, frankly I don't care how we do it. But, if we were to win our last (home) game to get promotion that would be perfect.

It was a definite trend. There was a comment above a toxic atmosphere during the run in of his last season in charge. Mainly because we'd blown so many good positions and we had arguably the best squad we'd known in decades. It was deja vu, we knew we'd fail again.
