It took a minute or so before the penny dropped.
93 added minutes is more than the usual 3-5 minutes ..
93 minutes of injury time is also more than usual .
If the ref stops his watch and there is only 90 minutes of actual playing time how can any goals be scored in the 91st minute and thereafter?
The bigger question , If it went on for another 5 minutes and we were awarded another 5 penalties , would we have scored one in the end. ??

Therefore (with a simple calculation, not accounting for additional pressure) to miss 2 in a row would be a 3% likelihood, 3 would be half a percent, 4 would be less than 0.1% and 5 in a row would be 0.01%
If we took another 2 and missed those (so 7 in a row as per your message) that would be a likelihood of 4 in a million.
