Thread: I've had my jabs

    I've had my jabs

Travelling over today, the Forest weekend begins now.

I hope there's a decent bar to be found. What is it about Welsh bars? Managers and staff treat customers as the enemy.

Hi, Could I have two pints please?

    Barman -That's £7

You haven't given me the pints yet.

prick - its cos you might disappear after pour the pints.

    Why would I do that?

Bastard - you trying to be funny?

PS It is possible to serve more than one customer at a time.

Can you tell the nerves are kicking in ?

Never had to hand the money over first in 15 years of drinking in pubs.

P.s I didn't know you were coming over, you should have mentioned it once or a 100 times.

    1. You probably drink Dutch Gold in your bedsit.

    2. Ive mentioned it a few times as a reminder to you, hoping you'd offer me a pint so I could give you a dig. In fact, a few here could form a queue.

Dutch Gold is a low-cost, imported, pilsner lager beer sold only in Ireland. It was launched there in 1995.

    I live in a house.

I attend games with my daughter.

Thought you liked a wind up, bless.

Anyone know a pub on Cardiff they treat you like Louth has suggested here?

Ahhh, so he drinks it, on his own, in his bedsit. That's where the jibe came from. How unoriginal of him.

Bless? Its good to see your daughter has a major influence on you. Mine have an equal influence also.

As you know, I love a wind up. Where was yours? :)

Are you telling me you are never asked for the money first? With the exception of your locals?

Its very common, many mention it here.

The rest I mentioned was tongue in cheek.

In fairness craft ales should be free. Witches IPA my ass.

No, never been asked for the money up front in a pub. In a restaurant a few times but never a pub, and I've drank in every pub in Cardiff

I think the extra fingers will ensure that doesn't happen

I think its because most People in Cardiff with Irish accents are from the gypo camps. Probably why they asked you for the cash up front.

You hope to have the look of a man who would quickly down two pints and run out of a pub?

If that's what you aspire to, I dread to think how bad you look now.

This. As long as you haven't got a horse parked outside you should be fine.

Not to chuck Louth in with em, but the jippos that go out in town can be a nuisance if they feel like it, remember an occasion where a mass brawl happened after one game because they were very clever in sitting close to us in single numbers and walking away with rather expensive jackets. Basically piling them up behind the girls they had sat at table across the club. Absolute chaos followed...
