Gething has been quite brilliant in his handling of the NHS in Wales, to be fair.

That was my first thought on Skates, but he's good at being everyone's friend apparently. Vaughan Gething was meant to be in the running but it'll be Skates apparently. With Welsh Labour its like choosing between dog shit and cat shit half the time
And with the Welsh Tories it's just shit twenty four seven with no ending in site

Carwyn is off in the autumn. Good riddance -He has been absolutely dreadful for Wales in his time in charge of our country. Virtually everything is in a worse state now than it was when he took the helm.

His successor surely can't be as bas as Carwyn has been??

I vote Labour and am proud to say so

I will never vote for the capitalist Tories , never and thankfully nor will the majority of Wales

So how can you blame Labour for the funding WAG gets from a Conservative government in Westminster? Don't try austerity as our debt keeps rising.

Sludge - Carwyn and his bunch dont give a feck out you. They know full well you'll always vote for them - no matter what they do. They will always get your vote - as in vote terms you are easy meat. Jones could kick you in the bollocks and you'd still vote Red. Anyone that gives their vote away so cheaply is less of a man for doing so - in my opinion.
I am less of a man lol , comedy gold

    Socialism !!!!!!

What makes me laugh is the ones who say they voted labour in the past or the ones who have simply changed their user names and think we don't know who they are , immature silly sods

I was involved in the referendum for lawmaking powers held in Wales in 2011, campaigning for Yes. On the day following the vote there was a big party in the Wales Millennium Centre for the Yes campaigners. Spirits were high because Yes had won and I was getting drunk and talking to some interesting people whom I’d never met before. I went to the bar and who was there but only Carwyn Jones with a sour expression on his face. He’d campaigned for Yes as the First Minister but didn’t look too happy as I stood next to him waiting to be served.

Not being a fan of the man myself I just ordered my round and didn’t say anything to him. My drinks were placed on a tray. As I lifted the tray and made my way to my companions CJ - the First Minister - elbowed my arm, causing the drinks to spill but I managed to keep the tray from tipping the glasses onto the floor. I looked up at him - he’s quite tall - and he glared at me, daring me to challenge his behaviour. I muttered something like ”****ing wanker” and went back to my seat.

    What a ****ing wanker.

Yes I remember the day clearly. I worked for Plaid so I didn’t fraternise with Labour politicians if I could help it. I was on my third pint as I went to the bar. You had a good interaction with CJ - I’d imagine he was on an official visit to the hospital. I had a bad one when CJ was “off duty”. Context is important.

He hasn’t exactly covered himself with glory recently, either.

Love the new love him and JC
