Like most players he is far better when the ball is in front of him.
He would be better playing alongside a centre forward who could lay the ball off to him or just behind two wingers who were laying the ball back to him or straight up the middle if midfield players were able to find incisive passes along the ground. In fact he would do even better if he didn’t have to head the ball!

Would definitely help if we just at least played the ball down the channel and not aimlessly kick it to his direction somewhere upfield
