    Just back

    Had a great few days.

The game was a bit stressful after Forest equalised. The atmosphere was excellent, it was a great night.
Zohore is class. He can only improve.

    Shame about the beer. :)

Once youve had Guinness in Ireland there's nothing that comes close

The other Stouts are equal. Murphy's and Beamish.

One bar that I use has pints cooled to the tap.

You won't get the smell of cleaning fluids within the glass either. Nothing better to see full lacing down the glass.

Pints cooled to the tap aren't new. Even piss like carling can offer that.

    Its far better.

Bars are privately owned. There's plenty of competition. You really do need to serve an excellent pint.

It’s all brewed in the same place so it really shouldn’t be. The quality of a pint is down to the boozer that’s serving it, not which country that happens to be in.

I don't know the full story about it. It cost 35k to install and is computer controlled. Fast and a slower pour on the tap for stout makes a huge difference to beer over there too.

I'm not trying to sell Ireland to you all. If I had my way I'd ban a lot of you from entering Ireland. :)

Yeah, but you live on the side of a mountain. :)

Hop 13 is a decent drop, in other news I had a couple of Cobra Craft Beer on draft the other night, it was very nice.

I went to the St James Brewery in Dublin many years ago and yes, there are different strengths for different countries.
As far as I recall the Guinness brewed for the UK was not as strong as Ireland's and the strongest was sold to African countries!

When I go over to dingle there's about 20 pints half pulled all the time whatever their doing it certainly makes a difference

I prefer Murihys to Guineas, but then half my family work for Murphys in Cork so I’ve got to say that.

Pubs are better in Ireland, they haven’t got horrible chains like ****ing weatherspoons.

The difference I take notice of is quality and presentation.

I'm not a Guinness drinker so I can't argue with you about that, but I gained the impression that the taste did slightly differ because of the strength differences.
