Etheridge reminds me of Peter Schmeichel

In the way he's not afraid to come off his line and make himself a big object to get past. Terrific keeper.

That's what the commentator over here just said.

Yes he does two things like Schmeichel, comes out quickly and makes himself big with arms and legs stretched out wide .

I am so sorry I doubted you Neil please forgive me .

His kicking was always his weak spot but he seems to have sorted that out now too. Very alert to any danger.

I remember watching an interview with Schmeichel, where he reckoned that, because he was so well known for coming off his line and had such a good record on 1 on 1s, strikers went into games with doubts in their own mind on how to deal with it.

Oh he did. Should have let the ball go out for a goal kick.

The error was Gunners. Virtually hoofed it out of his hands.

To be fair he was just going to pick it back up before Gunnarsson sliced it away. Think he did the right thing, did he call for it or was he loud enough I don't know. A lot of errors happened between him not taking it out of play. Gunnarsson not clearing it or leaving it for the keeper, Bamba slow to get up to play and then Morrison being brushed off.
