    What an absolute disaster for him. His stock was sky high after Wales, then plummeted and his chance to rebuild it with bringing Sunderland straight back up has been taken away. Probably a financial decision, wages too high

    You have to question his and/or his advisors judgement. If he wanted football management to be his job, he probably had 4 more years as manager of Wales available to him - Would be hugely surprised if he gets another shot at club management - his track record now looks shit.

    It must have been about money.

    Shame really as he probably still had a more than good group of Welsh players to work with for the foreseeable future

    Go down? Not his fault, rotten club yadda yadda. Stay up? He's a miracle worker.

    End of the day, forget the mess off the pitch. 5 wins in 29 matches is poor, Coleman is a poor domestic manager.

    Wales in last campaign conceded goals late, costing us points.

    Sunderland played well at times, conceding goals late in a number of games costing them points.

    Sunderland were not bottom of the table when he was appointed. While the club is a basket case I wouldn't say that Coleman has exactly covered himself in glory. The fact he went there in the first place demonstrated poor judgement.
