Thread: Was just looking at players' appearances ....

  1. #1

Was just looking at players' appearances ....

...and came across a listing that for some reason doesn't include (it is Wiki, mind) the Charles brothers.

Simply interested, anyone know how many each of them played for the Bluebirds?

The list includes only those who have played 100 or more games. John Charles played 69 times for Cardiff and Mel 79.

Seeing JC play was a privilege.
He may not have been at his peak but he was still a magnificent asset.
It would be great to see the media stories from the time.

Both strikers as well but you may not have been around when Gill was top scorer in our first ever Football League season. Also played in the 1925 cup final for us.
